MAY THEME: WILY/MAVERICK POWERS BRING MOM FLOWERS - Draw a Megamom of your choice getting some type of floral arrangement for Mother's Day from a plant-based Megaman character.

Weather has been wacky in the US lately. Dunno about you, but we had snow showers in April, and now there is a chance of breaking out the snow plowers today on May 1st! That is not how the old saying is supposed to go! But let's pretend May flowers will be blooming soon. May is also the month of Mother's Day, and the moms of the Megaman Universe deserve more love. Your goal for this month is to draw one of those moms getting some kind of floral arrangement delivered from a plant-based Megaman character. Let's pretend the baddies are now working for 1-800-flowers when they aren't destroying blue bombers, and the children ordered a gift to be delivered to mom while they are off fighting evil. Singing telegrams are optional.

Characters from different series can be mixed and matched how you want. I'm sure you're saying, "but there aren't hardly any moms or plant characters!" Yes, it may be limited, but here are some options [not a complete list] for those who need a refresher:

MOM: Haruka Hikari (Lan's Mom), Elec Mama/Count Zap's mom (from EXE anime) Hoshikawa Akane (Geo's Mom), Matilda Caskett (Roll's Mom), Luna's Mom, Sonia's Mom, and any mom you want to design [canon be damned] on your own (ex. - Vent/Aile's mom, Kalinka's mom, mama Wily, etc.)
[Stretches work too] - Mother Elf, Ariga's Megamix "Metal Heart" Mother Computer

PLANT: Plant Man, Plantman.EXE, Spike Rosered, Optic Sunflower, Wire Sponge, Rospark the Floroid, Glacier Le Cactank, Noble Mandrago, hanabiran (the flower miniboss from Hornet Man's stage) and Flower Presenter (also in that stage)

The deadline for this month's competition will be Friday, May 31st.

- You must be entering with the goal of having fun. All those who are not having fun drawing Rockman stuff will be disqualified.
- Any medium is accepted: pencil, paint, oekaki, Photoshop, original sprite work, etc.
- Content must be dA appropriate. Which is pretty loose, but please note if your subject matter contains mature content.
- After deadline time, there will be a public vote for the winners. Yes, it  might be nothing but a popularity vote, but let's try it.
- You can post your artwork at any time. Please note me or comment in this journal once you are done and want to be considered for the vote.

While there are no cool prizes for this competition, the top three each month can take home one of these awesome, hastily-made, signatures to throw up on your journal or other forums!
