Before this becomes dated, a quick, sarcastic editorial~ish oekaki on the events that have transpired in the past week in the Megaman Universe.

Despite not being the hugest Legends/DASH fan, it of course still stings to see the Legends 3 project get cancelled like it did, including the poorly written and unprofessional PR statements from the company itself across all three divisions (CoA/CoJ/CoE) and in response to fans' queries. While I can't say some of the childish responses back from fans will help in the long run (even though I was tempted to do worse with the dialog in this pic, myself), it is great to see the unity and devotion over the game/character in light of the unfortunate loss.

I'm not one of those people who are going to start claiming the sky is falling and that Megaman games are officially dead, but yeah, the fortunes have sucked as of late. Let's just hope something decent is in the works for the 25th anniversary.

Yep, to represent how X got left out of (Ultimate) Marvel vs. Capcom 3, despite all the fan demand. It's like poor X was blindsided and run over by a car. :(

There's always hope. Stranger things that had even less probability have succeeded. Doesn't mean it'll happen overnight, but there's always a chance.
